Realizzare un archivio consultabile per regione, provincia, specie vegetale, nome locale, tradizione colturale e stato documentale. Trattare cereali, ortaggi, legumi, fruttiferi, vite, olivo e altre colture agricole. Distinguere chiaramente le varietà storiche, le varietà locali, quelle formalmente riconosciute come varietà da conservazione e quelle per cui il rischio genetico è stato effettivamente documentato.

Ogni scheda dichiara il suo stato: documentata solo con fonti scientifiche, norme o registri ufficiali; segnalata quando la storia o l'identificazione non sono ancora confermate. Il rischio di erosione è documentato solo se una di quelle fonti lo attesta.
